The Chardonnay grape originated in Burgundy, France along with its relative Pinot Noir. While oaked Chardonnay is the more common practice, we aged ours in stainless steel tanks, therefore creating a completely different flavor profile than most. By utilizing this method, we preserved the grape's delicate fruit flavors and crisp natural acidity. You'll notice this wine is much lighter in color and body than its oaked counterpart and without the lingering buttery finish. We suggest pairing with lighter seafood fare, grilled vegetables or a vinaigrette salad.
