Restrained and complex, the nose shows the fruit of ripe blackberries and subtle oak nuances. On the palate, juicy red and blue fruit are complimented by beautiful rich notes of rum cake and whipped cream. The tannins are round and supple, giving the wine great weight and length. Typical of any great vintage, this wine has incredible balance: the acid is perfectly integrated creating a lasting finish.
