This wine gets its name from the home of Robert “King” Carter III, who was known for his forward- thinking liberation of 509 slaves in 1791. Bright cherry, blackberry, and raspberry aromas are backed by vanilla, mocha, and anise flavors. Fruit and black pepper spice are in perfect balance in the finish.
