Blended with 8% Merlot, this Cabernet displays a deep brick red color and rich aromas of blackberries, cherries, plums, black roses, tobacco, sandalwood, rosemary and spiced incense. The palate shows the warmth of the 2013 vintage, with supple, yet well delineated dark fruit flavors that are marked by notes of licorice, cocoa, French roast and minerals. The back picks up macerated berries, roasted walnuts, mocha and pencil lead followed by a ripe tannin finish.
