This dessert wine is made using a process called cryoextraction. In simple terms the red raspberry juice is frozen, then slowly allowed to thaw. Only the first portion of what thaws is used to make this wine. This portion is highly concentrated in both flavor and sugar. This intense raspberry flavor is carried over into the finished product. This wine won a double gold medal in the 2016 & 2017 Ohio Wine Competition!!!
