This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah with the Merlot and Cabernet making up 90% of the blend. Though the varieties used in the blend tend to be very full-bodied the style of this wine is very fruit-forward with a great balance in the mouth and in the finish. Recently released, this wine will develop nicely over the next couple of years and be drinkable over the next decade. 2012 Obsidian Molten-Cinnamon, clove, black cherry with a hint of tanned leather. Ripe soft red and black fruit are expressed on the palate with a delicate touch of tannins on the finish. Pair with herb-roasted meats, rich Mediterranean stews, or savory game dishes
