The Loudoun County Cuvee is comprised of our most fruit-forward, low-tannin red barrels from each vintage. The goal here is to produce a “summer” red – light on its feet, bright, vibrant, and refreshing. More often than not this means the LCC is merlot-based, but not always.
Aromatics of bright, fresh red fruit – cherry, raspberry. More supple, silkier tannins with a medium bodied palate. Easy-drinking red wine showing wonderful, youthful aromatics. This wine has weight without being too dense.
33% Cab Sauv, 25% Merlot, 22% Cab Franc, 20% Tannat
