A well crafted Bordelais style blend utilizing Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec from McCoy Vineyards. The resultant wine has immense character and intense color. A pleasant dark fruit aroma features black raspberry while showing hints of leather and mushrooms. The dark fruit continues on a delightful palate with tasty herbs chiming in. The lingering finish is soft and supple.
The final composition is 58% Petit Verdot, 21% Cabernet Franc, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Malbec. Production was 303 cases. This wine received a Gold Medal at the SF Chronicle Wine Competition
