Our 2009 Francesca Rossa is a Bordeaux-style blend composed of 80%Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. A fuller bodied wine with hints of black cherry, vanilla, black current and Italian plums, it’s rich on the palate and has a long finish accented by velvety tannins. This is a perfect “steak wine” but pairs equally well with mushroom couscous or hard goat cheeses.
