Tobacco spice and leather give way to chewy tannins.

Our first ever Old Vine Zinfandel, the vines behind this bold and concentrated red turned 99 in 2021! You can really taste the difference too – this wine booms from the glass with blackberry, black plum, and ripe red raspberry notes plus undertones of wildflowers and a sprinkle of sea salt (the fancy kind). On the palate, the wine is on the fuller side, but vibrant acidity lifts up all those ripe aromas giving tart plum, cherry, and red raspberry successive moments to shine before sharing the stage with fine tannins and another hit of raspberry. When chops and classic centerpieces (lamb, anyone?) are on the table, this wine becomes a poetry-inspiring pairing.

The palate turns up the volume on citrus flavors alongside fresh green herbs like thyme, rosemary, and tarragon before refreshing tannins add a textural punch.
