La Ferme Blanc, The Farm White, is made from one of the newest cold hardy grapes, the Itasca. This superb dry white wine begins with a hint of white flowers, on the nose and proceeds to the palate with slight tastes of pear and stone fruit with subtle natural honey notes giving as off-dry feeling on the palate. Serve chilled this varietal is the perfect sipping wine. Also, it pairs with light fare dishes such as fruit, crepes, charcuterie, and toasted garlic bread from the grill.
The Marquette Grape, with Pinot Noir in its lineage, tastes of cherry and blackberry with hints of vanilla and bourbon. This reserve has been carefully aged in bourbon fired American oak barrels to provide a smooth wine with a hint of bourbon flavor. Pairs with a good steak or alone.
DRY WHITE - A slightly oak-aged white wine from hand selected grapes displaying forward notes of apricot & sweet cream butter followed by a tart vanilla spice finish. Pairs well with mild cheeses, seafood dishes, chicken and pork.
DRY RED - The French adjective Corsé translates to spicy and full bodied which describes this Marquette wine aged with a spicy French oak. The tastes of cherry and blackberry are augmented with superb spice flavors, most notable being pepper. This wine compliments your favorite beef, turkey, hearty stew or spicy Mexican dishes or enjoyed on its own.
DRY RED The Frontenac grape is one of the initial cold hardy grape releases. This red grape produces a wine with strong tastes of cherry and blackberry. The French Oak ageing adds a note of vanilla. This wine is perfect with beef and pasta dishes. It is also fantastic with dark chocolate desserts.
DRY RED - This reserve wine is produced using only the grapes from our most mature vines. The wine has been twice aged with both French and French Cuvée oak adding more depth to the wine. The Frontenac Reserve exhibits tastes of caramel and vanilla to accentuate the Frontenac grapes cherry and blackberry flavors, This extremely smooth and full bodied wine is perfect with beef, pasts dishes and soft cheeses. A fabulous bold yet smooth red wine.
SEMI DRY WHITE La Crescent is one of the initial cold hardy grape releases. This white grape produces a refreshing wine with hints of apricot and citrus. La Crescent pairs well with mild cheeses, seafood dishes, chicken and pork. The semi-dry wine can also be enjoyed alone
SEMI-DRY ROSE Our Marquette Rosé is produced from the first press of our estate grown cold hardy Marquette grapes. Ageing in stainless tanks retains its crisp nature and allows the fruity, slight raspberry, and citrus flavors to shine. This semi-dry French style Rosé pairs well with a large range of your favorite foods and is exceptional on its own. Serve slightly chilled.

SEMI-DRY RED Nouveau, or vin de primeur, wines were created in France as a celebration of the harvest within each local region. It has evolved into a tradition of releasing these wines on the third Thursday of November with the most popular appellation being the Beaujolais Nouveau. Nouveau wines do not improve greatly with age and are intended for consumption within the vintage year. These wines are released shortly after fermentation resulting in light and fruity wines. Celebrate the local harvest with our annual vintage of Northern Nouveau. An off dry wine with light and fruity flavors will greet your palate. The 2020 Northern Nouveau is a blend of 5 grapes from our vineyards including; Frontenac, Frontenac Gris, Frontenac Blanc, Marquette, and Sabrevois.
SWEET RED This red blend of King of the North, Frontenac and Sabrevois is part of our Deux Chevaux or Two Horse series honoring the equine members of our farm family. This wine tastes of fruit on the palate with a finish of red raspberry and cherry flavors. This sweet red is perfect with pizza, pasta and grilled meats. This wine is used to make our holiday mulled wine. A recipe is provided with wine purchase.
SEMI-SWEET WHITE The Cape Winery is located in Cape Vincent, a tourist rich area, with one of the local attractions being the Tibbetts Point Lighthouse, depicted on the front label. The lighthouse was constructed in 1827 and to this day provides a welcoming beacon to all ships heading from the Great Lakes onto the St Lawrence River. The pastel of the lighthouse was done by local artist Ruth Uhllig. Tibbetts Point Misty White is produced from our local Frontenac Gris grape. A delicate nose and tastes of tropical fruits make this wine the perfect pairing with grilled chicken, seafood, and spicy dishes. Perfect sipping wine, enjoyed at a cold 45 degrees.
SWEET WHITE This white wine is part of our Deux Chevaux or Two Horse series honoring the equine members of our farm family. Based on the Niagara grape this wine is aromatic, fruity and refreshing with an exceptionally smooth finish. This sweet wine pairs well with fresh fruit and cheese or sipped alone.
SWEET RED - Tibbetts Point Sunset Red is produced from our local King of the North Grape. A definite grape nose with flavor enhanced by a delicious sweetness. Enjoy chilled with all types of cheese and cheese dishes as well as sweet and spicy chicken, pork, or beef.
