Planted in 1976, the two acre Riesling bloc of own-rooted vines is the oldest at the pioneering Wiley Vineyard. It is planted on a south and east-facing slope with shallow soil, and the vineyard is the closest in Anderson Valley to the Pacific’s cooling influence, providing the long growing season Rieslings crave. This dry Riesling was fermented in neutral oak and stainless steel to enhance the complex aromatics and delicate flavor of the noble grape. 214 cases
