T2's Rosé is a perennial favorite. This is a balanced, restrained rosé; crisp and refreshing, strawberry flavors, ample acidity. Whole-cluster pressed to restrain tannins, resulting in a wine with a very light edge to the mouthfeel. Pairs with Oysters, Sole Meunier, light appetizers.

We landed a surprise allocation of this special lot, Sangiovese planted in 1994. Crazy dark ruby color literally burst out of this fruit minutes after destemming, giving me a vision of the depth of quality in this fruit. In aging and now in bottle, it has not disappointed: a bounty of intense flavors unusual for this varietal. You can get this fruit any year...blended in a monastically large lot that appears on the shelves of many NW groceries. That winery's semi had already left the vineyard when Mike and Jon Sauer realized there was another row left to pick. I came by to drop bins and they offered me this tiny remnant, just enough for one barrel, and now your table.
Roussanne was the start of our winter blending trials to create the 2020 version of our Rhone white blend. Barrel-fermentation Viognier, aged on the lees, sets a supple aromatic backbone for this wine. The 2019 is refreshingly light and features vibrant acidity. 40 cases produced, ABV 13.2
The two bottlings from our sold-out 2016 vintage earned Silver and Double Gold from the 2018 and 2020 Seattle Wine Awards. This vintage will certainly carry the torch for this Malbec series. Block 9 of Sagemore's Gamache vineyard. Planted in 2003, enjoys a south-east exposure on a bench overlooking the Columbia Valley. This exposure warms the vines in the morning while tempering the afternoon heat. Lightly oaked, structured with acidity and minerality from this site's Caliche subsoils, this has enough tannin for a classic red meat wine, but has ample fruity flavor to make it a delicious drinking wine. Pair with a grass-fed strip or a rack of St Louis ribs, or any good steak.
Red Willow's Marcoux block is the western-most Cabernet planting in the Yakima Valley. wine delivers a robust structure, fruity/earthy balance and intricate aromatics. Aged 23 months in 80% neutral french barrels. Refined tannins and acidity frame deep fruit flavors of raspberry and black cherry. Still a young wine, ready for several years barrel aging, or enjoy now with decanting and breathing.
This Syrah balances intense fruit and fine acid with silky tannins and light earthy character. A hint of Syrah funk makes for a nice lamb pairing. This might be our best Syrah yet. 50% Konnowac Vineyard, 46% Weinbau Vineyard and 4% Grenache. 44 cases produced. ABV 14.6%
