Sugar Creek Redside Rapid gets its name from the rapid located at Mile 82 on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho just above Stoddard Creek which runs through the 2.3 million-acre Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. It is one of the premier river running streams as it passes through one of the largest wilderness area in the lower 48. It is a Class II to IV depending on water level. It is short with a steep drop among huge boulders. 5.0% Residual Sugar.
