This Chambourcin vintage was aged for 12 months in 60% Georgia bourbon barrels and 40% American oak wine barrels for a smooth and mellow dry red wine. It has soft tannins and medium body. Counterintuitively, the whiskey barrels actually smooth out the acidity of the Chambourcin in a very favorable manner. This Copperhead has been "de-fanged".
We imported this bold, dry red wine in bulk from our family friends at Lidia and Amato Vineyards in Abruzzo. It has strong tannins and ripe dark friut aromas like raisin, fig and plum along with tobacco. Enjoy a bottle with steak , grilled meat or pasta with marinara sauce. You won't be disappointed.
A dry, full-bodied white wine that we imported from our Italian connection in Abruzzo, Lidia and Amato.
It has wonderful stonefruit and citrus aromas along with balanced acidity nad minerality. It is made from the Pecorino grape varietal, but tastes nothing like Pecorino cheese. It pairs beautifully with appetizers, cheese and charcuterie or chicken and fish dishes with cream sauce or fettucini alfredo. It is a delight and an uncommon find. This is a varietal that was thought to be extinct at onepoint.
This is our first vintage of "amber wine" made from estate grown Petit Manseng grapes skin-fermented like a red wine. This follows an ancient style of wine making. It is dry, full-bodied, and flavorful. Unlike other white wines, it has moderate smooth tannins. It pairs well with fish, poultry, cheese and charcuterie.
Ayca is our estate grown and produced, semi-sweet 100% Traminette. It is a fragrant white wine with crisp acidity, floral aromas and a bright citrus finish. It pairs well with fish, chicken and spicy Asian foods. A great summer wine, but good all year.
A semi-sweet white wine from Petit Manseng grapes. It is fermented in stainless steel and has citrus and tropical fruit aromas. The semi-sweet finish is perfectly balanced by the high natural acidity of the grapes. This is a real treat for a sunny summer picnic and pairs well with strong cheese and spicy food.
This French-style blend of our estate grown grapes, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec is fermented in stainless steel. Dry and bright with aromas of strawberry and cherry. It pairs well with salads and lighter fare and is great on the patio under the summer sun.
Estate grown, vinted and bottled, this is an outstanding example of a silky smooth Cabernet Franc expressing the terroir of the southern Appalachians in northern Georgia. It is exceptionally smooth and reminiscent of a west coast Pinot Noir. It subtly expresses all the characteristics that we love about Cabernet Franc and avoids overly vegetal/green flavors and aromas.
Estate grown medium bodied, dry red wine aged in Bulgarian and American oak for 12 months. Aromas of ripe red berries with smooth, integrated tannins makes it a perfect pairing with pasta, salmon or lighter red meat, such as pork or veal.
Norton is an American varietal found in the Southeast and central U.S. It is rich and full-bodied with black fruit, leather, and forest floor aromas carried by a strong backbone of tannin and acidity. Aged 20 months in American oak, it a great choice with grilled meats or chocolate.
This is our premium dry red wine, a "bordeaux blend" of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon Petit Verdot, and Tannat. Arromas of ripe dark cherry, blackberry and plum with leather, vanilla and oak. This wine is nicely balanced and has smooth tannins. It is estate rown, vinted and bottled.
This ruby port-styled dessert wine is a proprietary blend of Norton grapes fortified with American brandy and aged in American oak for 18 months. Rich and smooth, it can be enjoyed as dessert by itself or pairs well with strong cheeses, dark chocolate or cigars.
