Using French clones 548, 4, and 72, this wine has spent 8 months in French Oak barrels on lees after fermentation. This process is bâtonnage and it enhances mouth-feel/creaminess and weight. It is then transferred back into stainless steel tanks for 4 additional months to retain the fruit, aromatics, and brightness. The well-integrated oak enhances the profile of apple, pear, and melon.
