An intense dessert wine similar to a Sauterne. Made from Vignoles grapes, with a percentage of Botrytis, that were harvested late in the season. The result is a sweet wine with rich notes of apricot, pineapple, and orange zest with a lingering finish. Pairs with spicy Asian or Mexican dishes and sharp cheeses. With desserts try pairing with pound cake and berries, orange flan or vanilla pot de creme.
