The child of Syrah. Long ago Syrah was cross pollinated with a now extinct variety known as Peloursin. The result of the crossing was Petit Sirah. The small grape clusters produce a wine that is incredibly rich and jammy. Aromas expressive of blackberry and plum, flavors of blueberry jam and mocha.
