VINEYARD Snow Vineyard GRAPE VARIETIES 82% Verona 11% Aromella 7% Vignoles ABV 13% TASTING NOTES Fun, fruit forward, & affordable. Sparklet Candy Red is a rare and unique take on sparkling wine. Inspired by the Lambrusco style sparkling wines of yesteryear, it maintains approachability and smoothness with playful beading bubbles. Highly aromatic, with strong notes of cotton candy. Intense flavors of black cherry are balanced with a subtle but complex tobacco leaf finish. Awarded DOUBLE GOLD at the 2021 Colorado Governor's Cup Wine Competition. WINEGROWING Grown with a focus on sustainability. These grapes are farmed on nutrient rich soils, made up of a decomposed ancient sea bed. A properly managed, umbrella like canopy allows for just the right air flow and dappled sunlight onto the clusters to achieve maximum quality. Picked early to retain acidity for sparkling wine production. WINEMAKING Whole clusters of Verona are fermented in stainless steel undergoing carbonic maceration. Near the end of fermentation our house yeast culture is pitched to maintain consistency and dominate the rest of fermentation. The grapes are then pressed back to stainless steel and Malo-lactic conversion is blocked. Minimal sulfites added at bottling for stability. AWARDS 2021 Governor’s Cup Double Gold
