TASTING NOTES Brambly raspberry fruit is complemented by savory black pepper on the palate. Light bodied with a loamy minerality & grainy tannin structure. WINEGROWING Grown with a focus on sustainability. These grapes are farmed on alluvial soils mixed with larger volcanic strata. A properly managed, umbrella like canopy allows for just the right air flow and dappled sunlight onto the clusters to achieve maximum quality. The soils of the vineyard site enhances the expression of character for each variety and lends to the uniqueness of the wine. WINEMAKING Large berries and clusters were destemmed but left intact. A gentle fermentation followed with delestage and pumpovers conducted twice daily. Aging in neutral French oak barrels let the grape shine. A gentle, feminine expression resulted, highlighting the nuances of our terroir.
