This mead is a first of it's kind! Given an average score of 98 at the 2017 Mazer Cup, this is a crowd pleaser!
We first smoked the New England Wildflower honey with locally foraged Black Birch. After, we mixed the honey and water and pulled the Black Birch smoke through the water and honey mixture with a vacuum pump! Once we felt it was 'smokey' enough, we fermented this mead and then aged it in a Laphroaig Scotch barrel for 8 months!
This mead is not for the faint of heart! Scotch and whiskey drinkers will really enjoy this!
