Crimson Sumac is a wild herb that has been steeped in history. In the Revolutionary and Civil War times, soldiers would boil the Sumac cones in water leaving them with a citrusy, pink lemonade-esque tea.
We have infused it into a mead made with local wildflower honey. Think citrus, lemonade-like flavors are light, delicate and finish refreshing.
Enjoy chilled.
