Chambourcin is a vigorous, disease-resistant French-American hybrid developed in the Loire Valley of France.This wine is noted for its evocative herbal and berry aromas and crisp acidity. Named after the owner's grandson, the complexities of this well structured wine come from fruit traditionally grown in the Bordeaux region of France. Equal parts (25%) of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot were aged in French oak to yield aromas of black cherry and a long spicy finish. This wine pairs well with richly prepared meats and wild game.
