Although not originally Iberian, this variety is known for its floral, orange blossom aromas and penetrating Muscat ("grapey") flavor. Planted at RMV in 2011, we will saw our first small crop in 2015, and after six years aging in bulk, we're releasing an estate dessert wine in 2022! We are hoping to produce a wine not overly sweet but with the complexity of Italy’s Vin Santo, a favorite of ours.

This off-dry Rosé of Garnacha Tinta is a special blend of two vintages of our rosé. It was an experiment by our winemaker to develop a rosé wine with a bit more complexity than our usual single vintage wine. It’s a great wine to enjoy anytime. This rosé wine shines with a beautiful clear, salmon pink color. Aromas of strawberries
and ripe melon lead to a savory palate with notes of strawberries, pink grapefruit, and fresh honeydew melon. Aromatic fruit notes and a barely perceptible sweetness balanced by crisp acidity make this a wonderful wine to pair with spicy, salty foods on a meat and cheese picnic platter with crusty sourdough bread. Served slightly chilled (14C ~ 57F). Its brilliance shines best when shared with friends. Our favorite pairing? Salty finger food and an ample table surrounded by friends!

This wine demonstrates a brilliant pink rose color. Aromas of light pink roses, raspberries, strawberries, and white peaches lead to a palate rich with strawberries, pink grapefruit and fresh pomegranate. Subtle fruit notes and a pleasant light sweetness balanced by a crisp acidity make this an easily approachable wine. The wine is very enjoyable on its own, or pairs well with spicy foods such as slightly spicy salami, including Spanish Salchichon, or even Italian Pepperoni. Good cheese pairings are in the slightly acidic Swiss family like Emmentaler or Gruyere. Served chilled (14C ~ 57F), this off dry rosé is a perfect sipper on its own, or pairs amazingly well with spicy nachos enchiladas or other spicy cuisine (Buffalo Wings or spicy Thai!). This wine demonstrates a brilliant clear garnet color, base to the rim. Aromas of raspberries, strawberries, and soft leather lead into a rich palate much the same. Subtle tannins and a pleasant balance of light vanilla to red cherries make this a pleasantly approachable wine. The wine is enjoyable on its own, or pairs well with grilled meats, garlic rich Italian cuisine or a hearty beef stew.

This package deal includes one 750 ml bottle of our 2014 Estate Tempranillo, one 375 ml bottle of our 2019 Estate Tempranillo (stored in barrel for 17 months), pulled directly from the barrel, stabilized and bottled for our winemaker to evaluate, and one 375 ml bottle of our 2020 Estate Tempranillo (stored in barrel for only 4 months), pulled directly from the barrel, stabilized and bottled for our winemaker to evaluate. This is a very rare chance to experience these wines side by side, as the winemaker does, to evaluate the progress of the aging in barrel and the development of the wine's complexity. One of the major accepted varieties for Rioja wines of Spain, this wine is a bold and intense red with aromas of ripe red berry fruit and flavors of Bing cherries, vanilla and clove. A bit more bold and "New Worldly" than our "Old World" style Tempranillo.
