Made entirely from Frontenac grapes grown in Riverwood’s own Platte County vineyards. This dry wine is light. smooth and elegant, with bold plum and wild berry flavors balanced with graceful notes of oak. Delightful on its own, and excellent with lamb or pork.
Often called Shiraz is Australia and South Africa. A deep, rich, medium-bodied red wine aged in stainless tanks. Has flavors and aromas of plum, black pepper, and dark fruits. Pairs well with heavy pasta dishes and Eggplant or Chicken Parmesan.
Bright and refreshing with a light pink color! This rose'; wine has flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and red fruit. Made with the Zinfandel grape and aged in stainless steel tanks. Excellent with fresh fruit, cheese or light pasta dishes. Serve chilled.
Aged in Willett Bourbon Whiskey Barrels for four moths to add a Whiskey influence to the wine. A nice medium to full-bodied red wine with a deep purple color, soft oak aromas, and notes of cherry and spice! Pairs great with a slow-cooked ribeye and roasted red potatoes.
A luscious white Port-style wine made with American Oak-aged Chardonel as a base wine and fortified with neutral grape spirits (i.e., distilled grape juice). Rich flavors of honey and butterscotch with a smooth, lingering finish. Wonderful with a Salumi/Charcuterie Tray or a small plate of spiced walnuts with Parmesan or Maytag Blue cheese.
