Full bodied blend of Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Barbera showing expressive red fruit character enticingly layered with accents of black cherry and black currants. Its robust structure pairs well with hearty meat courses yet accompanies pastas with red sauce equally well.

Notes

Harvested August to early September 2017 with long fruit hand time. Fermented in 2 ton fermenters, with twice a day punch downs, aged 10 months in French and neutral oak.
