Crisp, clean, and delicious. Picpoul Blanc is the perfect wine for oysters, seafood, or just sitting on the patio on a hot summers day. The wine smells of a fresh lemon, plucked from a tree. The acidity is bright, but complimented by a rich texture as the wine completed Malolactic Fermentation.
Et Al was born out of a love for food, wine, the sea, and each other. We hope you enjoy!
Our rose, a flower for my mother, is always just a bright beautiful wine. After five hours on the skin, its got a gorgeous hazy salmon hue - like looking into the sunset on a beautiful day. On the nose, there's an immediate note of candied orange and orange blossom. On the palate, the wine is crisp and bright with notes of Orange Julius and pink lady apple peel. As it completed secondary fermentation, it has full mouthfeel, but has a super racy finish and a great food wine. One to drink now, but also save for later!
This wine evokes a feeling of walking through a field of flowers on a hot summer’s afternoon. The nose brings forth herbs, like thyme and rosemary, blooming in the spring, followed by bright red fruits like cranberry. While light in color, the palate presents black fruits, like a crisp, just ripe black cherry. A great wine with charcuterie.
This is a fun interpretation of California Viognier. Hints of cantaloupe and Meyer lemon curd play on the nose, while the palate presents ripe Asian pear and lemon verbena tea. It is a full bodied white wine, great on it's own, or paired with light meats and fish.
This wine is bright, fresh, and fun. At just 11.5% alcohol, it is a super easy sipper. There is bright tart raspberry on the nose, and followed by fresh cherry. On the palate, there's gorgeous lavender and sage, with a delicate rose flavor water note. Truly unique and truly delicious.
Don't miss this one - time only wine for Raft! A full bodied white, this wine picked up great texture after 16 months in barrel. On the nose it smells like fresh apple pie - tons of cinnamon, caramel, and baked apple notes. On the palate, there's a salted quality to it - like a salted Marcona almond in texture with a dried apricot.
Throughout the fermentation of this wine, the best descriptors always circled back to the same three words - yum, yummy, and yes! We know they’re not formal, but they best describe this youthful Grenache. On first pour, the first striking thing is gorgeous vermilion color- the wine when pressed after fermentation had a stunning orange hue, and the color truly presents itself in the wine. On the nose, it is all red fruits of strawberry and raspberry with a hint of rose and on the palate it is full and rich with a lingering finish.
Sangiovese is such a great wine for sharing. It is approachable, yet with a tannin structure to stand up to many different foods - we think it’s the perfect pizza and pasta wine! On the nose, it inspires notes of redwood tips, vanilla, and spice. On the palate, there it is tart cherry, a dusty tannin structure, as you would find in cocoa nibs. Drink a bottle now, and save one for later, you won’t be disappointed!
Year after year we love how the Weed Farms Syrah presents notes of the vineyard - violet and bay leaf, followed by black olive and thyme - the perfect balance of being both wild and delicate at the same time. On the palate it is a mouthful of blackberry and crunchy tannins with a lovely black pepper spice. It is a great wine to be paired with roasted meats or vegetables, at a dinner with friends.
We love how this wine truly shows off both the terroir and climate of this gorgeous vineyard. With so much sunshine on these western facing vines, you can practically taste the rays coming through. There is a beautiful floral quality to this wine, followed by a light white pepper spice. On the palate, there is gorgeous bright berry notes and a lengthy lush finish.
