Our newest proprietary blend is named for the year 1348, which is the earliest known reference to the Raffaldini family. This powerful red blend utilizes signature estate grapes that have been dried using the Appassimento technique. Opaque color coats the glass as deep rich fruit and earth flavors erupt onto the nose. Complex fruit, earth and white pepper spice flavors envelop the palate. James Suckling rated this wine 92 points, and it is currently the highest-rated North Carolina wine ever produced.
