Silver Medal winner at 2021 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Our new Rosè in the Freeport series honors Freeport, a 1700’s lumber and fishing port that was one of the first settlements in our area. Off-dry with just a hint of balancing sweetness, this rosé is light and refreshing, with aromas of strawberry jam and red cherry. This thoroughly enjoyable rosé is made from our 2018 Cabernet Franc that had great fruit, but pale color, making rosé the natural choice for expression of this Cab Franc’s versatility of flavor. Rosés are among the most versatile wines with food, and can be paired with almost everything, but they really shine with fresh, light picnic foods, and traditional holiday foods.
