2018 Peter William “PWV Reserve” Syrah Lot B-42 From our winemaking partners at the “Barrel 42” facility, this wine shows a youthful angularity and an even greater aging potential than the immediately enticing “Les Candives.” Is it great now? Of course, but a few years of cellaring while result in something very special indeed. 94 Points “As it sits in the glass it eventually unwinds to reveal aromas of ripe dark plum and blackberry with earthy, gamey background notes. As it continues to evolve, the flavors are focused on black fruit with clove and earthy spice presented in a medium full-bodied style.
