Sémillon grows better here than anywhere else in the world!
We carefully grow our grapes to bring out tropical fruit aromas then barrel ferment and barrel age in old, neutral oak to produce a round supple wine full of complex flavors.
Sémillon is one of Washington’s best varieties for fish and poultry. Dungeness crab is our family favorite with this wine, but we also grab it for halibut, walleye, or chicken in a tarragon cream sauce — the delicate foods we don't want to overwhelm with strong spices, sauces, or wines.
Our vines were not sprayed with any insecticides or fungicides in 2015. Our goal as wholistic winegrowers is to create an environment where the vines thrive and both insects and fungus struggle, where sunlight dapples every berry and leaf. Wine IS bottled Sunlight.
