Aglianico is an Italian Red varietal, originally grown in southern Italy near Naples. Full bodied and robust, our Aglianico was barrel aged in neutral oak barrels for two years. Barrel aging in neutral oak, allows the flavor profile of the wine to smooth and the delicious flavor of the grapes to shine without being masked under the taste of oak.
Albariño is a Spanish white wine that delights the palate with its semi-sweet, crisp, light flavor.
Typically, Albariño is served as a young wine so in keeping with tradition, we did not barrel age it for 2 years like our other wines.
It pairs well with seafood, semi soft cheeses (mozzarella, brie), pastas, grilled vegetable dishes, finger foods and salads.
Our Vermentino was hand picked and processed in our winery/barn. After fermentation was complete, we aged it in a neutral barrel for 7 months to smooth it even more.
This slightly sweet wine can be enjoyed as an aperitif with light cheeses and crackers, but also pairs well with fish or chicken dishes.
Montepulciano is an Italian red grape variety from the Adriatic coast in the d'Abruzzo region. Boasting a full bodied mouth experience, our Montepulciano is barrel aged in neutral oak for two years.
Barrel aging in neutral oak allows micro-oxidation to occur which enhances the smoothness of the flavors allowing the flavor of the grape to be foremost in the flavor profile.
Roussanne, a French white grape from the Rhone Valley, is said to be "the red wine drinkers white wine" or "the white wine drinkers red wine".
Having more tannins and glycerin, Roussanne provides more complexity and mouth feel than a typical white wine.
Barrel aged in neutral oak barrels for two years, our Roussanne is smooth, easy to drink and a delight to the palate.
