Odilon Desreumaux Reserve dessert wine,is made from small batch brandy and late harvest frontenac and marquette grapes picked at the winemaker’s own vineyard in Sampson, Wisconsin. The winemaker teamed with a local Madison distillery who produced the brandy from the estate’s previous harvest, aging it for nine months in a charred oak barrel before blending it with the frontenac and Marquette wines. This versatile wine, which can age several years, can be enjoyed on its own, used as an ingredient in a port cocktail or paired with chocolate or cheese.
