The Willamette Valley Red Wine is made up of old-vine and heritage clone pinot noir, highlighting the experimental nature of historical plantings in the valley, in combination with juicy Pinot Gris, bright Gamay and the silky tannins of Cabernet Franc. The Chardonnay from Justice Vineyard over the years has developed a haunting sea breeze, saline quality both in the aroma and on the palate that distinguishes it from every other Chardonnay in our portfolio. The wine’s freshness, purity, and unique fingerprint are framed by bright acidity and a crystalline structure, perhaps providing a window into the marine sedimentary soils where it is planted, soils that were once layers of sand on the floor of the ocean millions of years ago.
Picked early, whole cluster pressed to avoid extraction of tannin, fermented cool in stainless steel with no malolactic fermentation, and voilà – a bright, refreshing wine that captures the essence of summer, with all the aromatic complexity of Pinot noir but with the lighter body of an elegant aromatic white wine.
A delightful incarnation, the 2019 Chardonnay strikes the perfect balance between stoicism and a lithesome softness. The final white wine to be released from our 2019 vintage, our 100% Estate Chardonnay features a drier presentation, with just a hint of creaminess and notes of lemon zest and green apple. Aged in 100% neutral oak, the complex minerality of this wine melds beautifully with a mouth watering acidity and sumptuous mouth feel. It holds in perfect tension a buttoned up, demure presentation with a racy and energetic finish.
This is a Rhône style wine, using Syrah as the hero varietal. Every vintage of Oregon Roan is unique, but we are always working to enhance the natural characteristics of the Syrah in the vintage. These blends are delicious as both young and well-aged bottles which makes them a treat to follow over time.

This wine encapsulates the spirit of a classic Oregon Pinot Noir. It evokes a sense of nostalgia with playful notes of cherry cola, and expresses an intriguing complexity with whispers of umami and mushroom. Delicious to sip on its own, this 2016 cuvee has more depth and complexity than our 2015, with smooth, balanced tannins. With notes of dried fruit and a woodsy finish, this Pinot Noir would be an ideal partner to a dinner, and its lingering finish will enhance any evening.
