After a pause in 2019 due to low yields, our varietal Grenache returns with added depth from Fulldraw Vineyard’s distinctive fruit. This vintage, with its searing acidity and complex, layered profile, reflects the patience required for Fulldraw's harvest, where whole clusters were used to enhance structure. Alta Colina’s Grenache brings a light, whimsical touch, creating a blend that starts shy but blossoms with air into an elegant, complex experience. Aromas unfold gently with rock candy, lilac, and raspberry compote, balanced by sea salt, charred leather, and orange zest. On the palate, bright dragon fruit and strawberry lead, with hints of tobacco and chanterelle. A steady acidity carries flavors of cola, soy sauce, red currants, and a polished finish. Named in memory of Helen Drinkward, Great-Grandmother and family matriarch, “With Love” honors her spirit. The name comes from a cherished 1930s photo she signed simply, “With Love, Helen.”
