Calliope 2020 is sunshine in a bottle. A southern red Rhone blend of Grenache and Mourvedre, this wine is light bodied and approachable with light tannins and medium acidity. In 2019 Calliope was judged "best in category" at the Atlantic Seaboard wine competition. Alcohol 12.7%
Erato, the goddess of Greek mythology, derived her name from the word "lovely," which is what this aromatic, steel fermented wine is. The distinct aroma comes from a small portion of Muscat Blanc a Petit Grains grown on slate soils in our highest elevation vineyard. It is a splendid aperitif wine. 12.1% alcohol.
