Notes

Richly hued garnet-red in color, there are initial aromas of blackberries and dried currants, with subdued hints of strawberries, fennel, shite pepper, and allspice in the background. In the mount, this wine is complexly dry and nicely balanced, with medium body and tannins, moderate acidity, and moderate length on the palate. Serve with white and dark meats like chicken, turkey, and pork, but also tomato based pastas, burgers, and pizza. It would also go well with barbecued chicken, a charcuterie platter, grilled vegetables, aged cheddar cheese, and stuffed mushrooms. Think of this bottling as you go-to wine for “every meal, every day.”
