First established in California in the late 1880ʼs, Sangiovese grapes have medium to high acidity and body structure that can be medium to firm. The assertive and robust aromas include strawberries, blueberries, and plum with hints of cinnamon, clove, vanilla, smoke, and toast. Excellent when paired with red meats, lamb, and spicy foods.
