Mead is simply fermented honey. When you add fruit it grows into a Melomel. We have taken our clover honey and added just a bit of the juice of freshly squeezed (by hand) lemons. The result is a lemony nose, a big blast of sweet clover honey and a delicate finish of lemony goodness. A sweet Mead at 6% rs, the lemony finish makes this Mead quite refreshing. Serve cool or over ice. A wonderful drink with all grilled meats, summer salads, and spicy foods.
