This is a dry blueberry wine, with no added sugar. It took a Silver Medal in the NY Wine Classic with 89 points. The flavors will take you to Maine and remind you of the wild huckleberries that grow there - tiny, tangy and tart, but very blueberry.
Our Dry St. Pepin is lightly oaked, giving it a woodsy feel. You may get sour Asian pear on the tongue.
2022 NY Wine Classic SILVER MEDAL: 86 points
“ Golden straw color. Toasty aromas and flavors of roasted pineapple and lemon, toasted nuts, and minerals with a silky, vibrant, dryish medium body and a seamless, engaging, medium-long finish with accents of persimmon, clementine, and spiced nuts with a suggestion of oak flavor. A round and mouthwatering white for fans of oaked Chardonnay and Chablis.”
Our sweet St. Pepin has been put through a malolactic fermentation to give it a nice buttery mouth feel on the tongue. The nose will pick up clover honey, which will come out on the tongue after about three sips.
MIddleburgh Red is a blend of St. Croix and Concord grapes. The deep burgundy color comes from the St. Croix grape. Concord weaves in a fruity cherry flavor
This pairs well with chocolate.
