This 100% Petite Sirah port style wine will certianly age, but can be enjoyed now.  The fruit was sourced from Webster Vineyard and picked as if it were going to be used as a typical Petite Sirah wine. Matt treated the fermentation as if it were any other of his Petite Sirahs and then arrested the fermentation at 9% residual sugar by adding 89.5% abv clear grape distilled brandy. This fortified dessert wine will last for years and years. Made in honor of our first son born in 2016, he should still be enjoying it long after he has his own first child. Aroma: Plum, baking spice, brown sugar, vanilla, and semisweet chocolate Taste: Chocolate covered fig, vanilla, cream and pecan pie
