Mead (honey wine) is the most ancient of alcoholic beverages and one of the most delicious. Beloved by the Vikings in their great mead halls, known by the Greeks as nectar of the gods, drunk by the Pagans from animal horn cups in their wild festivals. Our Traditional Mead is made to be just as wonderful as those of the past.
American Elderberry is a rich and flavorful native berry that grows abundantly in mid to late summer. Known for its vibrant purple color and its use in traditional herbalism, we wild harvested this wonderful fruit and fermented it with our wildflower honey into this unique and beautiful dry mead for you to enjoy.
Cool calm night air, the soothing sounds of nature, the graceful expanse of trees and stars. How many times did these berries soak up moonlight to be so filled with beautiful darkness? Sometimes it's better to be poetic than to know. Cheers, to the night, and to the great mystery of life. Enjoy
A perfect match of bright flavorful blueberry, soothing aromatic tulsi, good clean spring water, and our own Lost In The Woods wildflower honey. This combination of flavors is a wonder to imbibe, and one we are excited to share. If you've not heard of tulsi (holy basil), it's a delightful plant in the mint family and one of our favorite herbs.
This mysterious old brew is made with tart ruby red aronia berries, aromatic wildflower honey, and the earthy herbal bitterness of fresh mugwort. Delve deep into this strange drink and uncork the treasures hidden within.
Drip drip drip, the sweet sap flows to our buckets in the spring's thaw. What a treat maple syrup is after a long winter. Why haven't more folks thought to make a wine of it? We have no idea, but it made perfect sense to us. Enjoy this unique seasonal creation, and raise a glass to say cheers in gratitude for all the wonderful trees!
