The nose is dominated by red fruits such as red currant, strawberry and raspberry, but there is also some vanilla and coconut that is derived from the ageing in oak. The palate is bright with good acidity, but the wine has plenty of structure and weight without being too cloying or heavy. The flavors are again in the red spectrum but there is some citrus or mineral aspects on the mid to back palate.
