Typically, the juice would be pressed out of the skins of the Pinot Grigio grapes and then discarded. We decided to keep the juice on the skins for a full 24 hours to create this salmon colored rosé. The 2019 Great Grey Pinot Grigio opens up with aromas of apricot, pomegranate, citrus and raspberry. More apricot shows off the palate with honeydew melon and lemon. Flavors are backed with some spice, vanilla and sugar cookie. The extra skin contact gives the Great Grey a wonderful texture and tannin. Medium body and medium plus finish.
