Made in the French Burgundian style- crisp, complex flavors, well balanced with a mid structure that delivers a long and complex finish.
The nose starts with aromas of sweet hay, fresh wafts of sweet pine, jasmine, lily, plum and licorice. It then switches to an air of ocean with a hint of oysters, a whiff of coco- nut all wrapped in a crystalline and pure sensation. It switches again, to summer and tropical fruits with notes of pear, vanilla, apricot tart and pineapple.
The mouthfeel has a rich viscosity counter- balanced by a bracing acidity.
The finish is incredibly long with loads of ripe pear and a hint of banana.
