Burgundian-inspired, the 2019 is medium gold in the glass with aromas of granny smith apples, pears ad honeydew. The palate is rich and full-bodied with tiers of apple, honeydew and pears with a lush mid-mouth followed by toasty oak and a long, refinished finish. The wine is well-balanced.
Our 2021 Cooper's Red Collar Rose' is rose' of cabernet sauvignon from three vineyards - Stagecoach Vineyard®, George III (Rutherford) and Yates Family Vineyard (Mt. Veeder). Produced using the saignee' method, at harvest we remove a portion of the red juice that has been in contact with the skins. This method produces a bigger, bolder style of rose' that fits perfectly with our portfolio. While this wine reminds us of "summer in the glass" you'll drink this one year-round as it's no whimpy rose'.
The wine is deep garnet with purple undertones. The expressive nose opens with baked plums, black cherry, hints of spice cake, herbs and dried roses. The medium-to-full palate offers an array of dark red berry fruit, currants, earth and spice along with soft dusty tannins on a medium-long finish. This is a cab drinker's merlot.
We eek out a ton of fruit per vintage from this high elevation vineyard located on the steep slopes of Atlas Peak. The wine has a classic syrah profile of earth, spice, meatiness with refined but ample tannins.
This is a classic cool climate-like Syrah to enjoy over the next 8 to 10 years.
From a premium vineyard black located within the Pritchard Hill Region of the vineyard. The wine shows aromas of blueberry, dark black cherry, currant and chocolate with hints of Asian spice. The mouth is more black/red fruit dominant - black cherry/black raspberry/boysenberry - there is a ton of fruit but not overdone.

From the heart of the Rutherford Bench in Napa Valley, this wine comes from an iconic vineyard planted exclusively to cabernet sauvignon. Contractually we do not use the vineyard name which allows is to keep our pricing lower vs. our peers.
Red fruit dominant with plum, cherry and hints of chocolate on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied with chewy, creamy tannins and a long, flavorful finish. The wine shows tension and balance.
Our 2018 Yates Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon offers aromas of blueberries and blackberries with hints of floral notes, spice and earthiness. The mouth expresses blue and black fruit, a full body, with firm tannins and fresh acidity. Structured and finely crafted - the wine is more old world in style than our other cabernet wines.
Deep garnet-purple in the glass, the wine comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant scents of black forest cake, and blueberry pie - plus wafts of cinnamon, potpourri and underbrush. The medium-bodied palate as a firm, grainy textured backbone with nice bright fruit and a spicy finish.
We honor our labrador retrievers with our Blackpaw series of wines.
From an outstanding Petite Sirah vineyard located in Calistoga, the wine is dark purple in the glass. The nose is full showing dark black fruit along with earth and spice. The mouth if round with lush blackberry, boysenberry, hints of cinnamon and refined tannins. Our petite sirah style is more refined so you won't have to wait 10-15 years to open a bottle.
