Our goddess Rose begins with a traditional French approach where we bleed (Saignee) off juice from the production of our signature reds and ferment it in Stainless Steel. It then ages in Stainless Steel tanks for six to eight months. In 2019 we blended in a touch of Chardonnay for a more lush mouthfeel and aromatics.
The mouthfeel is smooth and lush, softened by a touch of Chardonnay, it opens with ample flavors of strawberries, honeydew melon with hints of violets carried forward from the components of merlot and cabernet sauvignon. The finish is silky and fairly long with tiny hints of herbal essence that turn more towards peach as it opens up.
