FOOD PAIRINGS: Scones & cream of course for afternoon tea! Pairs well with light, sweet and subtle flavors, such as lemon poppy seed cake, strawberry short cake/pound cake, or a “stone fruit” tart (apricot, peach or plum). Brunch foods like Eggs Benedict or poached/baked fish with lemon slices. Pairs well with citrus based foods and creates a nice balance when served with slightly spicy dishes. A great everyday Mead!
