This medium bodied wine was aged 20 months in a mix of American, French, and Slovakian oak barrels. Dense aromas of dried cranberry, raspberry, and boysenberry lead the way followed by pencil shavings, toast, coffee and roasted hazelnuts. The dried fruit aromas carry through on the palate balanced by bright acidity and flavors of bramble, fig, black pepper, and vanilla. Long expressive finish.
