Our second vintage of Sauvignon Blanc grown here at Hungry Hawk Vineyards was partially barrel fermented and partially fermented in stainless steel. After fermentation, the two lots were blended and aged sur lie for a few months in stainless steel. What results is a medium bodied wine that displays aromas of lemongrass, guava and mangoes with hints of vanilla and caramel. On the palate, the vanilla and caramel follow through with a dominating smooth, fresh citrus and guava in a long, full, satin finish.
